Bioinformatics services include databases and software for data analysis.
Publicly available databases contain information for immunodeficiencies and some other diseases. The services contain general and detailed information about immunodeficiencies (IDR), mutations in immunodeficiencies (IDbases) protein kinase domains (KinMutBae) and Src homology 2 (SH2) domains (SH2base), and clinical and genetic diagnostic laboratories for immunodeficiencies (IDdiagnostics). IKB is a central knowledge base for information about immune system related genes and proteins for systems biological approaches.
The services are for prediction of a number of features in protein structure. PON-P is a pipeline for analysis whether a variant is pathogenic or bening. RankViaContact was developed for amino acid contact energy calculations, and MultiDisp for visualization of even very large multiple sequence alignments. ProLocalizer is for prediction of protein subcellular localization, while different types of pseudogenes can be searched for human genes with Prolocalizer. BioWAP is a bioinformatics service for mobile devices.
